A small shrubby perennial pepper plant. Height is 2-5 feet. Known as Chili Pequin when the fruits are rounded and Chili Petin when the fruits are more pointed. The fruits are green turning to red and 1/2 to 1 inch long, and are produced from April to November. White flowers are everblooming. 30,000-50,000 Scoville Units on the heat scale. Native from Florida to Arizona and Tropical America.
